With the introduction of Type 7 rubbers, Magura is offering the option for the first time to choose between three different types of rubbers with different characteristics. The pads available in versions 7.S, 7.P and 7.R differ primarily in their braking performance, but there are also differences in the areas of noise and durability.
The green 7.S rubber appeals to comfort-oriented bikers who place great value on low noise and good controllability. The black 7.P (Performance) rubber, on the other hand, is the perfect all-round rubber, offering slightly higher braking performance and temperature stability, but at the same time producing a more noticeable background noise. The golden 7.R (racing) pad is recommended for all performance-oriented bikers because it was developed for extreme conditions and extreme requirements and generates the highest braking performance with higher noise levels. What all three types of pads have in common is the excellent Magura original quality and an organic pad mixture that is suitable for different types of brake discs.
